EXPERIENCE JOY

We are a Church
Ever-Changing!

Exciting things are happening at Joy MCC, and we’d love for you to participate.

Our doors are always open to those seeking solace, solidarity, and spiritual transformation. Together, we fill searching hearts, fight for justice, and feed hungry souls, embodying the transformative power of love in action.

Our Mission

Our mission is taking the doors off the church and the church to the streets.

Our Vision

Our vision is to fill searching hearts, fight for justice, and feed hungry people.

What’s your JOY Dream?

That’s the question we have been asking all year long-in fact it’s a question we have been asking for over 45 years at JOY. The answer to that question over the past 45 years has led to JOY making a difference in the community, to JOY feeding the hungry, and to help thousands understand that in the midst of struggle and social injustice LOVE WINS, LOVE HEALS!!

But how will you-no, how will we answer that question in the years ahead?

FAITH IN ACTION

Opening the Doors to Joy

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13)

Joy MCC believes that true happiness is found not in receiving, but in giving and serving one another. Join us as we take the doors off the church and bring our mission to the streets, creating a community where happiness and peace abound through mutual support and love.

Experience true Christian fellowship as we strive to live out these principles in our daily lives:

“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”

Romans 15:7

ACCEPT ONE
ANOTHER

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Ephesians 4:2-3

BEAR WITH ONE
ANOTHER

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

Galatians 5:13

SERVE ONE
ANOTHER

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:31-32

FORGIVE ONE
ANOTHER

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

CARRY ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

John 13:34

LOVE ONE
ANOTHER
