The mission of the Zebra Coalition is to foster hope, dignity and self-respect in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth and to provide them an opportunity to grow-up in a safe, healthy and supportive environment.

 Partners in the Zebra Coalition support youth in need of shelter, emotional or spiritual guidance, medical services, or education ~ regardless of their personal, economic or social circumstances. These fundamental services are financially supported by the Zebra Foundation for Youth

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Central Florida--The Center--has been in operation for over 32 years. GLBT individuals, as well as family and friends, in Central Florida have stood up to both institutional and individual injustice and discrimination by volunteering their time, money and talents at The Center. The Center has been an organizing force within the GLBT community serving as a source for information, education, advocacy and support. The Center has worked to foster the personal development and quality of life of the community it serves, as well as to increase understanding and acceptance within the greater Central Florida area. Today we offer a variety of support and social programs. We offer AA, AL-Anon, NA, CODA, CMA, HIV+ and Transgender support groups,  counseling for individuals and couples at a reduced cost, and over 20 various social/support groups. The Center serves more than 15,000 individuals a year through its doors and over 8,000 a month online.

Our History: Since 1988, the Hope and Help Center has proudly provided comprehensive and compassionate support in Central Florida for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. As the premier HIV/AIDS service organization in the region, Hope and Help Center offers a full range of care services, as well as education and prevention initiatives that save lives, refute the stigma, and offer hope to all those touched by this disease. Throughout the years we have grown with eight locations throughout Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola Counties.

As you may know, an estimated 20-30% of the LGBTQ community abuses substances, compared to about 9% of the general population. Specific treatment plans for the LGBTQ community are suggested, as they show sensitivity to their specific needs, ultimately giving a better chance at success in recovery. Our goal is to provide families and communities with helpful information and resources on substance abuse, addiction, and recovery options.
